Energy efficiency, conservation, and comfort

Developed in collaboration with the company Telnet, the MHS-EnerCon2 has created an application that contributes to improving historic buildings' management, bringing together the technology and knowledge necessary to improve their energy efficiency and facilitate their conservation without forgetting the comfort of users.

The project is part of the State Program for Research, Development and Innovation Oriented to the Challenges of Society, within the Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2013-2016, of the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Competitiveness.

Three pilot buildings have been identified for its implementation: the Cathedral of San Antolin, the Palace of the Provincial Council in Palencia, and the Museum of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid.
