This project's objective ("Raíces de barrio," in Spanish) is to minimize the impact of climate change in cities and towns due to innovative solutions based on nature and renewable energies. It reinforces energy savings and efficiency of buildings, contributing to the improvement of neighborhoods' habitability and the quality of life and welfare of their inhabitants.
The project that we have been developing for years with Ressa Foundation has already taken its first steps in Madrid, in the Usera neighborhood.
Thanks to Bankia and Montemadrid Foundation's support, a new pilot project will be designed in the capital, in a block of apartments in the Simancas neighborhood, adjacent to the Julián Camarillo industrial park.
